6 December 1992

6 December 1992, on this day WE reclaimed Bhagavan Ram’s birthplace by bringing down the invasive Babri structure. With deep reverence, we proudly remember the devotion, mighty effort, and sacrifice of the Hindu devotees and Kar Sevaks. Jai Shri Ram.

Events

1600’s- Mughal Mir Baqi, built a structure, Babri Masjid, at the Ram Janambhoomi Site.

1980s- Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) began a campaign for the construction of the Ram Mandir. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) served as a political voice. Several rallies and marches were held as a part of this movement, including the Ram Rath Yatra led by L. K. Advani.

2nd November 1990

Massacre of Kar Sevaks and many devotees that were marching toward Ramjanambhoomi.

On 6 December 1992

An area was marked for worship.

The VHP and the BJP organized a rally at the site involving 150,000 people. The devotees, Kar Sevaks, ripped off those barbed wires, and barricades with their bare hands, and tore down the mosque/ babri structure, within 4 hours.

Thus, laying the first step into the resurrection of the Bhavya Ram Mandir.
